Amazon's People Experience and Technology (HR) organization manages the employee experience for 275,000 corporate Amazon employees.

Our research team was asked to explore opportunities for improving the way these employees (especially managers) interacted with our ecosystem of tools to manage their HR tasks.

Mentoring another researcher, I led a mixed methods study including a lit review, survey, and card sorting workshops.
This study was proposed in order to satisfy an "S-Team" level goal for the SVP of People Experience and Technology at Amazon. As of 2023, the S-Team at Amazon is the senior leadership team comprised of Amazon CEO's 28 direct reports.
In order to better understand the problem space, and to start mapping our assumptions about corporate users and their HR-related needs, we collected 82 research artifacts into a shared board for analysis.
